Since our launch in mid-2020, we have grown from a relatively small team to over 30 staff as we look to close what has been an incredibly successful 2022.

We are a fast growing, multi-award winning tech platform created specifically for new car buyers. We create the best automotive content and products, enabling new car buyers to understand what car is right for them, where to buy it, and how much they should pay, enabling them to make confident decisions. 

We exist to improve the new car buying experience through being an independent voice of trust.

Nonetheless heading in to 2023 and beyond, our team is set to grow substantially with 20+ full time new positions open across a variety of roles and industries ready for immediate start. We have put these roles here with a brief description of each.

Human Resources Manager

As we grow beyond 30 employees, quickly headed towards 60, the HR Manager will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your HR Manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management and working with the CEO on more strategic elements of HR.

This is a critical role to our business success. People drive performance and are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realise our established Vision and Objectives and culture.

Chief Product Officer

As we continue our growth, we are looking for a CPO to lead an array of consumer, dealer and technology products from conception to design, strategy, execution and delivery. The successful candidate will need a solid technology and managerial background and be able to get the best out of our internal and external development team.

3 x Consumer Relationship Executives

As our lead volume from consumers to dealers continues to grow, we are looking for friendly knowledgeable car people to help qualify leads for authenticity and make sure they are looking at the right car and services for them.

5x Car Content Experts

We are growing our editorial team substantially in 2023. We are looking for content writers with experience and a passion for automotive writing.

Do not apply if you want to review supercars (yes, we get this a lot).

We are looking for passionate creators either with experience or those who want an ‘in’ to the competitive landscape of automotive content production and learn with the fastest-growing automotive website in the country.

The tasks and roles will vary across news, reviews, comparisons, analytical, industry etc, but an ability to write well and learn quickly is vital.

Digital Campaign Manager & Ad Operations Executive

The Ad Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of advertiser campaigns within the CarExpert environment and its network partners, which includes campaign implementation, delivery and reporting.

The last 12 months have seen over 10 new ad products launched and strong demand for CarExpert’s advertising inventory. With continued audience growth, product evolution and more products launching, we anticipate the next 12-24 months will see even more demand.

NSW Sales Manager

We are looking for a great candidate that will work alongside our chief commercial officer and NSW sales director and be responsible for key accounts in the NSW market. Manage and achieve sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and work across a range of exciting and innovative digital products which continue to grow and introduce market firsts.

Senior Accountant

Looking for a senior accountant to help prepare financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Accounts Receivable

Calculating, recording, inputting or processing financial data. Preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures. Researching and investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges.

The following roles are subject to the appointment of Chief Product Officer and will likely commence in Q2 CY 2023.

Project Management Officer

CarExpert’s Project Management Officer (PMO) is a professional able to support projects and programs objectives independently, acts as the 2IC to the product officer.

Dealer Product Manager

The dealer product manager is the person responsible for our growing product suite to the dealer network. Making sure dealer needs are met and the technology delivers the desired outcome.

Consumer Product Manager

CarExpert is a consumer facing brand, the consumer product manager will be in charge of our numerous products from the lead management system on the consumer side to our content templates to the sold price report, showrooms and other elements of the website.
